Expert RA has summed the performance of Russian insurance companies in H1 2024. United Insurance Company (OSK), a subsidiary of the Insight Investment Group, has been included in the list of top 50 Russian insurance companies by total insurance premiums, ranking 48th out of 125 companies.
OSK also ranks 31st among universal non-life insurance companies.
In H1, the insurance premiums amounted to RUB 1.49 billion, and payouts totaled RUB 853 million. In H1 2023, these figures were RUB 1.35 billion and RUB 731 million, respectively, and the company ranked 49th.
By compulsory insurance premiums, OSK ranks 19th with RUB 655 million.
At the beginning of July 2024, the agency confirmed the ruА financial reliability rating of OSK JSC. The forecast has been changed from stable to positive, which, according to the rating agency, is due to the moderate size and market position, satisfactory assessment of insurance business, adequate financial results, high asset quality and liquidity indicators, and adequate management quality along with high reinsurance protection.
United Insurance Company is one of the oldest Russian insurance companies. It has been on the market since 1990 and is currently present in 15 cities: Samara, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Petrozavodsk, Orenburg, Kirov, Togliatti, Syzran, and Novokuibyshevsk. OSK joined the Insight Group in March 2024.
