Mikhail Gonopolskiy

Mikhail graduated with distinction from the State University of Management in 2004, majoring in Financial Management. In 2008, he completed his postgraduate studies at the university and earned a PhD in Economics.

From 2004 to 2016, Mikhail held leadership roles in Russian banks, where he was in charge of investment strategies for securities portfolio management and M&A transactions in the financial sector. He served as the Managing Director at SFI Investment Holding from January 2016 to July 2022, participating in crucial M&A transactions and supervising the growth of the holding's Russian leasing business.

In July 2022, he transitioned from SFI Holding to become a partner and managing director at the Insight Investment Group.
